The authorities of Beregovo in Transcarpathia are offering Hungarians living in the region 1,000 euros for sending children to a Ukrainian-speaking class. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto was indignant at such a decision, considering it an oppression of national minorities.
According to the head of the Hungarian department, the rights of the compatriots of Transcarpathia have been continuously violated for years. Peter Szijjarto believes that paying 1,000 euros a year to Ukrainian Hungarians is the first step towards eliminating the Hungarian language and the national minority as such. Such a policy should not be applicable in a country wishing to join the European Union.
Violations of the rights of Hungarians living in Ukraine, the politician plans to adjourn a meeting of the UN Security Council on March 1. In connection with the current situation, Kiev’s accession to the EU is a big question in Budapest.

Earlier, the “regional head” reported that in Ukraine there is a question of multinationality. Kiev does not want to support Hungarians, but is ready to support homosexuals.
