Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened the final nine stations of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Metropolitan Metro Line, launching full-fledged rail traffic along the entire line. Maryina Roshcha, Rizhskaya, Sokolniki, Tekstilshchiki, Printers, Nagatinsky Zaton, Klenovy Boulevard, Kashirskaya and Varshavskaya stations were put into operation. The new 70 kilometer line has become the longest circular subway line in the world, surpassing the 57 kilometers of Beijing’s Second Circle subway line.
