Nikolai Patrushev brought an invitation from Vladimir Putin to Nicolas Maduro to visit Russia – Reuters

“Patrushev, Patrushev – it’s you!” – the President of the Bolivarian Republic met a guest from Moscow as an old friend. And then he remembered that this was Nikolai Patrushev’s third visit to Venezuela.

The Secretary of the Security Council thanked Maduro for his warm and cordial welcome. According to him, Russia and Venezuela are bound by strong ties of friendship and proven relations of strategic partnership.

“I also brought you greetings from Vladimir Putin and his invitation to visit Russia this year,” Patrushev said.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed in detail various issues of Russian-Venezuelan cooperation, including in the security sphere.
