Rogov accused the West of disrupting IAEA mission rotation at ZNPP

Rogov: Western intelligence artificially disrupts IAEA mission rotation at ZNPP

Western intelligence is deliberately disrupting the rotation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission to the ZNPP, said in a commentary RIA News Vladimir Rogov, member of the main board of the administration of the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to him, the rotation of the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which was supposed to take place in February, is artificially disrupted by Western intelligence services. To do this, they use the UN structures which are blocking the arrival of a new group of experts in the region. At the same time, the West wants to accuse Russia of supposedly creating obstacles and difficulties.

Rogov noted that the IAEA team can freely enter the Zaporizhzhia region. Russia will create a safe corridor for the arrival of experts who can visit the ZNPP.

Recall that the IAEA mission has been at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant since September 2022. Since then, several rotations have taken place, the last one was in January 2023.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron called on Russian troops to leave the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
