The latest Boomerang armored personnel carriers are sent to the NWO zone

The Arzamas Machine-Building Plant presumably sent a Russian response to the American Bradley in the NVO area. The latest domestic armored personnel carriers on the Boomerang platform were seen on railway platforms heading towards the front of the special military operation.

The Boomerang multifunctional platform was first presented in 2015, and new armored vehicles began to enter service with the Russian army only two years ago. A wide range of armored vehicles can be built on a single platform – from armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles to self-propelled mortars and anti-aircraft missile systems.

The armored personnel carrier based on the “Boomerang” is equipped with a YaMZ-780 engine with a capacity of 750 liters. With. and can move over rough terrain at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The descendant of the armored personnel carrier – 80 has a new multi-layered armor containing ceramics, which meets all modern requirements of combat operations.

The vehicles that have been seen in the trains are equipped with a combat module with a 12.7 mm machine gun. The armored vehicles of the Boomerang platform will be tested for the first time in real combat conditions. During field tests last fall, the new armored personnel carriers demonstrated excellent combat capabilities.
