According to the American edition of CNN referring to the press secretary of the Eastern Group of Ukrainian Troops, Serhiy Cherevaty, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not made a decision on the withdrawal of the army from Artemivsk. At the same time, information was released the day before about the appearance of an American signal in Kiev about the withdrawal from the colony, for which fierce battles are now being waged.

The report indicates that the withdrawal of troops from the Armed Forces of Ukraine is possible in one scenario – when the threat to the soldiers and the command turns out to be more than the need to keep the settlement under control.

The decision, if it follows of course, will be taken after the corresponding meeting of the General Staff, summed up Cherevaty.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny quoted Yevgeny Prigozhin, an entrepreneur and founder of the private military company Wagner. The businessman denied rumors that the Ukrainian armed forces were ready to surrender Artemovsk. He noted that the enemy fiercely defended the city.
