A military transport plane exploded on the territory of a factory in Ulyanovsk. One person was reported dead in the incident.
The Il-76 MD plane crashed in the hangar of the PJSC Il-Aviastar, the Baza Telegram channel reports. Depressurization occurred during board testing.
“At the Aviastar plant, during testing of the fuselage compartment of an aircraft in production, a tragic incident occurred,” said United Aircraft Corporation.

About six injured factory workers are known to be receiving the necessary medical assistance. One of them received injuries incompatible with life. Emergency services are on site.

Earlier it was reported that a plane crashed in the Belgorod region on February 23. When the Su-25 crashed into a barn, causing a fire. The pilot of the plane died.
