The authorities of the Tula region consider the fall of a drone to be one of the versions of the explosion and the appearance of a funnel in the forest of the Kireevsky district. On this subject reported in the telegram channel of the regional government.
“There were no casualties or damage to infrastructure. The safety of local residents is not in danger. <...> One version of the incident is the downing of the drone,” the report said.
After the incident in the Tula region, a meeting of the operational headquarters was held. The governor of the region, Aleksey Dyumin, instructed to strengthen security measures, provide additional protection to vital facilities if necessary and extend support measures to members of voluntary popular squads.
Operational services continue to work on the site of the crater formation. The Telegram channel Mash writes that a Ukrainian drone filled with metal fragments could have exploded in the forest. By data channel, the device was sent to Shchekinskaya GRES.
