Russian troops entrenched three kilometers from Kupyansk

Russian troops approached Kupiansk in the Kharkov region. This is what Russian war correspondents claim. According to them, units of the Russian army were able to gain a foothold just three kilometers from the city.

According to journalist and military expert Yuri Podolyaka, most likely we are talking about the advancement of Russian army units through the forest along the Oskol River near the Sinkovka station.

If the Russian units manage to advance towards the settlement of Petropavlovka, they will have the opportunity to cut off the road to Svatovo and Kremennaya (LPR), which is important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At present, it is actively used by the enemy to supply the group of troops located west of the Kremennaya-Svatovo line.

It should be noted that at the moment units of the Western group of forces are fighting in the direction of Kupyansk. Recently, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regularly reports on successes in this section of the contact line.

In particular, a few days ago it became known about the destruction of at least five American-made M777 howitzers. They were taken out by Lancet suicide drones. Artillery systems did not even save protective nets, which were considered an effective means of countering Russian drones.

Experts explained this with a new tactic for using the Lancets. Now kamikaze drones are attacking Ukrainian artillery units from the rear.
