White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre described incumbent US President Joe Biden as someone “afraid of nothing”.
During the briefing, Fox News correspondent Peter Doucey asked Jean-Pierre “why Biden is afraid of China.” She dismissed that Biden was afraid to take decisive action against the Chinese side.
“The president is not afraid of China. Did you see the president last week when we went to Ukraine, to Kiev? He is a president who is not afraid of anything,” said Jean-Pierre.
A presidential spokesman called his visit to Kiev “a historic journey that many have called a brave step.” According to her, we are talking about a head of state who is not afraid to “go to a war zone without an American military presence”.
“There is nothing this president is afraid of,” concluded Jean-Pierre.
As the Public Information Service previously reported, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Biden was afraid to travel to Kiev without asking the Russian side about security conditions.
As we learned, Washington warned Moscow that the president was going to Ukraine.
