The United States announced the transfer of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. This time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive not only armored vehicles, but also bridge-laying equipment, FAN reports.
The review of consolidated material from the Western press is presented by the “Central News Service”. Journalists note that the total cost of the new military aid program will be around $400 million. It will include a large amount of ammunition, such as HIMARS rockets.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a tank bridge layer, this will allow the military to quickly build an 18-meter-long level crossing. Such equipment should help the Ukrainian army in the proposed offensive, which is to force the rivers. According to other sources, the United States will also send Ukraine more howitzers, demolition charges, spare parts and equipment to repair Western vehicles.
