Some adjustments have been made to the admission rules for first-year students in 2023. Parents can now apply for first-year enrollment through the state services portal. The school will no longer be able to require original documents confirming eligibility for enrollment. But the parents must provide these documents when it comes to the priority right of registration at the school.
Information on the availability of places in the first classes can also be found in the corresponding section of the state services chain. There you can also receive the school application review results.
Last fall was busy for parents. The number of first-graders in Yaroslavl increased by 2000 people. But the number of schools has not increased. And although the Ministry of Education tried to assure everyone that there were enough places in the first classes, parents raised scandal after scandal. However, the claims of those who did not enter the school by registration have been substantiated. This year, in July, a school for 1,100 students is to be put into operation in the Dzerzhinsky district. And the commissioning of the building on Pashukovskaya will significantly reduce the shortage of places in the Dzerzhinsky district. Residents of Krasnoperekopsky, Frunzensky and Zavolzhsky districts will have to wait until 2024 – this year the commissioning of schools is planned, the construction of which will begin in March 2023.
