Residents of Pskov receive more than 40 types of social fund services in electronic form. Natalia Melnikova, head of the department of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation for the Pskov region, announced this during a meeting with the governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov.

As a result of the merger of the Social Insurance Fund and the Pension Fund of Russia, about a hundred departments switched to electronic work at the Pskov branch, she said.

“We have successfully completed 2022, made many payments. These are the establishment of maternity capital, benefits for families with children aged 8 to 17 and benefits that have been indexed,” summarized Natalia Melnikova on the results of the past year.

Today, the structure of the social fund includes 11 departments – they provide services for the payment of benefits, the sale of maternity capital, the payment of disability certificates, as well as the establishment of rehabilitation facilities and sanatorium and spa checks, recalled Natalia Melnikova.

The head of the region clarified that the merger only took place legally and that the employees did not have to physically travel. In addition, in each district of the Pskov region, customer service points have been preserved – they have not been expanded either.

Now, according to Natalia Melnikova, fund employees are gradually moving to a single electronic platform. Unified databases and reporting forms in electronic form have already been created. Moreover, 89% of citizens today demand the provision of services in electronic form, the head of the Pskov branch of the fund stressed.

After the funds were proactively merged, the fund began awarding SNILS to newborns, as well as awarding a disability pension. In the future, the Pskov branch plans to participate in a pilot project of unannounced singing appointments for the loss of a breadwinner, Natalia Melnikova said.
