“Spartak” refused to apply for ESC RFU due to an unaccounted goal

The head of the Moscow press service “Spartak” Dmitry Zelenov said that the club management will not address the expert arbitration commission of the RFU because of the decision of the match referee with ” Ural” Vitaly Meshkov not to count Alexander Sobolev. goal, which deprived the red-whites of victory.

“The error, from our point of view, is so obvious that the judiciary will independently assess the episode,” Zelenov said. He added that such a possibility is foreseen.

Recall that today, with the score 2:2, Meshkov whistled before the ball after Sobolev’s shot went through the Ural gate, fixing a foul. Later, after a replay, it turned out that the Urals goalkeeper collided with a player from his team and there was no fault of the Spartak players. However, in this case, the VAR system could no longer intervene.
