The United States has formed a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. It included ammunition and equipment for the successful conduct of hostilities, TASS reports citing a Pentagon statement.
“This package includes additional ammunition and support material for Ukrainian precision weapons, artillery and armored vehicles,” the document said.
Thus, Kiev will receive 155 mm shells from Washington, which can be used for HIMARS MLRS and M777 howitzers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive layers of tank bridges. In addition, the military assistance program includes materials for the maintenance and repair of military equipment and spare parts. The amount of ammunition and equipment is not specified.
Earlier, the “regional leader” reported that the Pentagon representative avoided answering the question about Ukraine’s wastage of military aid.
