“The medical equipment manufacturer JSC Tyumen Plant of Medical Equipment and Instruments will expand its area to increase mass production and increase the pace of localization of the production of steam sterilizers, cabinets for aseptic storage of endoscopes and instruments. ‘disinfection and washing equipment – these products belong to the company’s own developments,’ he clarified.
Ovchinsky added that previously the plant occupied 1.6 thousand square meters. meters, after the expansion works its area will be about 3.2 thousand square meters. meters.
The company concentrates its capabilities on the territory of the country, and also uses components of its own production or other domestic enterprises. These measures make it possible to produce and supply equipment to medical institutions in a timely manner. For example, disinfection and washing machines have a location rate of 100%.
The resident has been working in this direction for several years. This made it possible last year to replace more than 60% of the components of manufactured products with domestic ones, which makes it possible to quickly supply Russian hospitals with everything they need.
