Employees of the Tula traffic police helped the driver of a broken down truck

– Published on:

On February 28, the service unit received information about a truck blocking the entrance to the village of Staroe Basovo. A traffic police team was dispatched to the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, inspectors found an Iveco truck with a semi-trailer across the roadway. It turned out that the truck driver came from the Orel region to load in the Ryazan region and got lost. On a slippery road, the car stalled, unable to continue driving.

Traffic police inspectors asked for help from the driver of a passing tractor. However, he failed to fix the problem. Then a technical assistance vehicle was sent to the scene, which was able to move the truck and clear the road. The police also restored traffic, organized a diversion.

The driver of the truck was able to continue moving three hours after the arrival of the inspectors.
