In the Kaliningrad region, local authorities plan to spend only 1 billion 581 million rubles on updating utility infrastructure networks over the next five years. For this, the program “Modernization of infrastructure systems of public services (2023-2027)” is in place. It is published on the Internet portal of the regional government.
So, 849.5 million will come from the federal “Territorial Development Fund”, 398.8 million – from local, another 199 million will come from local budgets, 134.3 million will come from extrabudgetary sources. In order to modernize the heating, water supply and sewage networks in 2023, a total of 357.9 million rubles will be allocated.
According to the project, a gas boiler will be built. It will be moved to apartment buildings. There will also be a major overhaul of five water supply networks, two heating networks will be restored. In addition, it is planned to repair 11 water supply networks and 11 heat distribution networks.
About 90 kilometers of networks will be replaced by the local authorities during the period provided for in the program. This will reduce accidents.
