Rogov: Ukraine began to form a shock group for the offensive

Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main board of the administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, said that according to operational data, Ukraine has begun to form a strike force for an offensive in the south.

“We are talking about preparing a spring offensive against the liberated part of the Zaporizhzhia region,” he said.

According to Rogov, the Ukrainian army will pursue the goal of cutting off Russian forces, cutting off the land corridor to Crimea and reaching the Sea of Azov coast.

He added that the main reserves of the Ukrainian army are concentrated in the Dnipropetrovsk region and partly in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

“To date, about 12,000 people have already been transferred there,” Rogov said. According to him, the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could begin at the end of March – beginning of April.
