The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Zakharova denied the fake on the obscene word on TV

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, explained that she had been “congratulated” on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Salisbury incident. Some media reported that the diplomat allowed herself to utter an obscene word on the air of the program 60 Minutes on the Rossiya-1 television channel.

According to Zakharova, unknown persons used the live broadcast of the program “60 minutes from March 13, 2018. It was devoted to the situation around the Skripals. At the same time, the sound of the TV clip was edited by sticking obscene language on it.

“It’s a trifle, but it’s good for someone to do such things,” Zakharova said.

The Foreign Office spokeswoman also recalled how much effort and time the Salisbury incident took five years ago.

“British Prime Minister Theresa May fought staged hysteria in Parliament and demanded that the whole world punish Russia. We have methodically, day after day, disavowed this monstrous lie. My briefings then lasted almost 3 hours. Everyone knows that it is very difficult to defend the truth”, underlined the diplomat.
