Former US President Donald Trump has promised to end the military conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours if he becomes president again.
During the annual meeting of his supporters in Colombia, the American politician noted that if he is re-elected, he will change America’s course towards Ukraine, because he does not agree with the policy of the current government. He believes that current President Joe Biden is causing a clash with the Russian Federation.
Trump said if re-elected to the presidency he would end hostilities in Ukraine in one day and taking such action “won’t be difficult.” He stressed that solving the problem in such a short time is possible and will not be difficult, but people need to know what is required of them, perform a certain algorithm of actions.
At the same time, the ex-president refused to divulge details of exactly how he planned to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, explaining that if others found out about his plan, he would lose the opportunity to implement it. Moreover, he added that under his rule the escalation of hostilities would not have occurred.
“I repeat, this would never have happened if I was president. This war must be resolved in one day,” he stressed.
