Zolotaya Korona banned cross-border transfers from cards of under-sanctioned Russian banks

Popular money transfer service Zolotaya Korona has stopped accepting overseas transfers when paying from cards issued by Russian banks under Western sanctions.

The company itself explained that it was forced to be guided by the requirements of partners who make direct payment transfers in other countries. In addition, relevant requirements are offered by settlement banks.

Previously, customers of Tinkoff, Sber and Alfa-Bank banks have reported experiencing problems when trying to send online transfers using the Zolotaya Korona service with card payment from these banks.
