The regional operational headquarters for the fight against the coronavirus epidemic reports that on March 5, 25 cases of COVID infection were registered in the Kostroma region, of which 14 cases occur in Kostroma itself, 3 in the Galichsky district, 2 each in Sharya and Makaryevsky district, 1 each – in Sudislavsky district, Ostrovsky village and Krasnoye-on-Volga. There are currently 25 patients in the “red zones” of the covid wards of Kostroma hospitals. Unfortunately, Kostroma doctors could not save one of the patients – the number of victims of the epidemic in the Kostroma region reached 1480 people.
