Three decades later, police contacted the American company Othram, which specializes in forensic genealogy. A DNA profile of the victim has been established. Thanks to the data obtained, it was possible to trace the relatives of the deceased.
Killed was a 30-year-old California resident and mother of three, Amanda Lynn Schumann Deza. Relatives were looking for her themselves. The police were not called for help.
