Daily Mail: in the USA, 30 years later, the identity of the woman found in the refrigerator was established

The woman’s corpse was wrapped in a blanket and tarp. The unfortunate woman’s hands were tied and a gag was inserted into her mouth. The cause of death was a blow to the head with a blunt object, detectives determined.

Then it was not possible to identify the deceased, because the attacker threw the refrigerator into the river.

Three decades later, police contacted the American company Othram, which specializes in forensic genealogy. A DNA profile of the victim has been established. Thanks to the data obtained, it was possible to trace the relatives of the deceased.

Killed was a 30-year-old California resident and mother of three, Amanda Lynn Schumann Deza. Relatives were looking for her themselves. The police were not called for help.
