Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjarto said the European strategy for managing the conflict in Ukraine was not working.
According to him, Western countries should abandon the “force” method of conflict resolution and help Kiev to “victory over Moscow on the battlefield”. The Hungarian Foreign Minister also added that it was precisely because of the ineffectiveness of strong pressure exerted on the Russian Federation that his country did not supply arms to Ukraine.
“The first goal…is a ceasefire agreement, nothing else…the ‘solutions’ we were trying to find in Europe just didn’t work because we got too carried away with it. military mentality,” Szijjártó said.
