In Chernyakhovsk, police opened a criminal investigation against the 31-year-old former chairman of a homeowners association. He is charged with part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, from January to October 2022, while serving as president of the HOA, the man received money from the owners of the living space of six multi-story buildings, allegedly to pay for the repair and maintenance of common property. No work was done, but the suspect regularly signed all the necessary documents. This was reported by the press center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kaliningrad region.
He used the money for his own needs. As a result, he caused damage to tenants for 420,000 rubles.
Earlier, MK in Kaliningrad reported that the Kaliningrad region prosecutor’s office secured the closure of the Golden Time pension. He operated illegally.
