In the Kalacheevsky district of the Voronezh region, a 71-year-old man will be tried for attempted murder with extreme cruelty.
A real Shakespearian drama played in November 2022. A guest introduced himself to the accused and his concubine and the company started drinking alcohol. At one point it seemed to the owner of the house that the friend was showing excessive signs of attention to his wife. In a fit of jealousy, the 71-year-old pensioner struck the guest several times with a kitchen knife, after which he passed out.
The cohabitant was doused with gasoline and set on fire. As a result, not only the wife caught fire, but the whole house. The injured opponent came to his senses in time and was able to leave the burning building, and the woman rushed to the street and extinguished the fire on herself with the help of snow.
The jealous pensioner will appear in court.
