Seriously ill figure skater Roman Kostomarov will be able to adequately pass the test and quickly rehabilitate after several amputations. This was stated by rehabilitation specialist and sports psychologist Maria Volynkina.

Volynkina believes that despite the physical characteristics, the skater will always boldly enter a new life, calmly accepting everything and gradually recovering, writes NEWS.ru.

“You have to understand that people face even worse situations, and athletes, in principle, are used to dealing with all difficulties, especially champions,” she said.

Volynkina also stressed the need to provide competent psychological assistance. She added that the specialist should provide the patient with support and understanding if they become depressed.
