Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said Vladimir Putin did not pass any messages to Chinese authorities through Alexander Lukashenko. The Belarusian leader’s visit to Beijing was bilateral.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has not conveyed any messages from Vladimir Putin to the Chinese authorities. This was reported by press secretary Peskov.
“No, it was an exclusively bilateral visit,” the Kremlin spokesman explained.

Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the initiative to unite the new regions that have become part of Russia into a separate federal district.

Referendums in the People’s Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions were held at the end of September last year. The majority of citizens voted in favor of joining the territories to the Russian Federation.
