RF Armed Forces will receive universal military armored clothing

Vladimir Drobyak, general director of the specialized research and production company Sturm, said that universal combat equipment is being created in Russia.

He clarified that part of the armor protection was transferred to the soldiers’ clothing. Combat equipment has a working name – KUB.

“In this development, we tried to create a multi-layered protection system for a soldier by transferring some of the protective properties of body armor to elements of tactical equipment and clothing. At the moment, work on this project is are pursuing,” Drobyak said.

According to him, a serious tactical task is the creation of unified tactical clothing for the Russian military. This problem must be solved in order to increase the effectiveness of soldiers in combat and increase their security.
