Deputy of the Ryazan City Duma Sergei Eremin was appointed acting secretary of the United Russia party branch in Ryazan. This was reported on the party’s website.
It is specified that the final decision on the candidacy will be taken at the party congress.
Previously, of secretary of the municipal branch of the party was held by Sergei Filimonov. He was at the center of a scandal over his son being convicted of a fatal accident in which a 10-year-old boy died.
