According to the administration of the Kuibyshev region, on Sunday, March 5, the first cases of tick bites were registered in the territory.

The regional hospital in the central district noted that the vaccine against tick-borne encephalitis is available and urged the population to be actively vaccinated, as this is the only effective way to protect against encephalitis.

Earlier, “MK in Novosibirsk” said that Siberians most often in the country purchase tick insurance.
