There are no fire ponds in 620 villages of Vladimir

This conclusion was drawn by the rescuers of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Vladimir region. Recently, all existing fire-fighting tanks in the Suzdal region were checked in the region.

It turned out that out of 196 ponds in Suzdal, only 25 are accessible by special equipment. The rest don’t come close. The same claims to reservoirs in the Melenkovsky and Kirzhachsky regions.

In total, there are 2993 fire reservoirs, both artificial and natural, on the territory of 33 regions. But in 620 villages and villages there are none at all.

The press service of the alarm service noted that there are orders to eliminate violations in 176 settlements. All relate to the maintenance of the ponds and the roads leading to them.

During the past year, 7 organisations, 39 officials and one citizen had to be sanctioned.
