Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi said there is a “general feeling” within Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) that the presidential elections in the republic “have turned into their favour”.
They hinted that Turkey’s current leader, Erdogan, would far outweigh his competitors. The presidential elections will most likely end in the first round. Remember that the president and the parliament will be elected there on May 14.
Earlier, Erdogan confirmed that presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey would be held on May 14. Chroniclers suggest that the election of the Turkish leader will determine the further course of events in the context of the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier it became known that the Naval Forces (Navy) of India carried out a successful test of the supersonic missile from the Brahmos ship. This was reported by the Press Trust of India (PTI).
