A resident of Yoshkar-Ola lost about 60,000 rubles trying to order intimate services.
According to preliminary data, a 23-year-old boy found an ad on the Internet with a proposal to brighten up his free time and called the specified number. The moderator who answered the call explained that because of the appeal of the young man, the site “broke down”, the work was suspended, allegedly for this reason they suffer great financial losses.
The scammer demanded compensation. The young man decided to comply with the request and transferred about 60,000 rubles, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Mari El.
Later, they called him back and told him that the site was not working and that new investments of the same amount were needed. After that, the young man decided to go to the police.
Recall that a former deputy from Mari El said that a resident of Mari El bought a car with debts of 1.4 million rubles.
