When going to the NWO area, volunteers, military and mobilized people must take with them a certain list of things. Among them there is a place for talismans. The wives of participants in the special operation spoke about the objects that their husbands carry next to their hearts.
Experienced fighters after the announced partial mobilization in Russia recommended wearing a specific list in the NVO zone: from socks and underwear to body armor and Kevlar helmets. However, no one can say what to put in a suitcase to bring luck to the front: everyone has their own.
The wife of the mobilized Marina said that her husband always kept the handicrafts made by the children in his breast pocket:
“The daughter helped her younger brother, they cut out hearts for dad. He carries them with him in his pocket.”
A senior officer’s wife, Lyubov, shared with PolitExpert that her beloved keeps the icon of St. George the Victor with him. The volunteer’s wife Tatyana shared a whole story about the appearance of a talisman from her husband. Before being sent to a war zone, his chain broke and his pectoral cross was lost. Tatyana did not hesitate for a second: she went to the temple, bought a new cross and a new chain there and consecrated them.
“I held it so tight to my chest, I gave all my love for her to keep it. She told him never to take it off because he would keep it. And another letter. Her daughter wrote on February 23 not only to dad, but to all the soldiers, they managed to pass it on. The husband keeps it at home, now always with him, ”said Tatiana.
Yulia, the wife of a sapper from the Engineer Sapper Battalion, is convinced that the most important talisman for NWO participants is faith. The husband does not part with the pectoral cross, and his mother also handed over a small icon:
“When I was able to send a parcel to my husband, I handed over a photo of me and my daughter – a small talisman. He asked a lot: he saw a colleague’s key ring in the shape of a heart , which you open, and there is a photo.
Wives of SVO participants took part in the airing of the Patriot Media Group. They said what the children think of the special military operation.
