Denis Shapiro, lawyer for Akhmat special forces commander Apta Alaudinov, told reporters that he intended to initiate criminal proceedings for the attempted murder of his client.
According to the human rights activist, for this purpose, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, will receive all the documents of the pre-check for the investigation into the poisoning of Apta Alaudinov.
“In a statement to the Chief Military Prosecutor of Russia, Valery Petrov, I ask him to personally take control of the material from the pre-investigation check … and to transfer the material to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, for a decision to initiate criminal proceedings under the article on attempted murder (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ),” Shapiro told reporters.
