Military expert Rozhin told about the situation in the Artemovsk leadership

According to the Voenkor Kotenok Z channel, an expert from the Boris Rozhin Center for Military-Political Journalism said about the situation in the Artemovsky direction on the evening of March 07, 2023.

According to him, the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Artemivsk itself (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) worsened overnight. However, despite the information about the withdrawal of part of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy leaves no attempt to hold the defense in the west and part of the central districts of the city.

“There is a political task – to keep Bakhmut at all costs, which is solved by fierce defense within the city limits and attempts to maintain the settlements of Krasnoye, Khromovo and Bogdanov, despite pressure from Wagner’s assault groups near Bogdanov and Krasny,” reports the expert.

Rozhin notes that the West is pressuring Ukrainian authorities with their recommendations to leave Bakhmut, but “Kiev has become hostage to its propaganda campaign to keep the city.”

For these purposes, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are transferring reserves intended for the Kupyansky, Krasnolimansky and Zaporizhzhia directorates.

“Part of the reserves has already been sent for counterattacks in the direction of Kleshcheevka and Krasnoe. Their task is to push back our troops from the Bakhmut road through Krasnoe and officially continue to supply the defenders of the city, to deliver to the less something at night, despite the shelling. Now the road is actually inaccessible … Part of the enemy reserves are concentrated in the Chasov Yar region,” Rozhin summarized, adding that on the evening of March 7, 45 at 52% Bakhmut the territory was under the control of Wagner PMC assault units.
