Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter and the richest man in the world, has apologized to Harald Inga Þorleifsson in a new post on the social network. Says he misunderstood Harald’s position in the company. It was based on stories he had heard but weren’t true and others that were of little importance.
It seems that photographer Daniel Houghton wrote an article in which he praised Harald and called him extremely hardworking and endowed with world-class talent and kindness. Houghton said Haraldur is someone everyone wants to have on their team and that must be based on a misunderstanding that he hasn’t won the hand on Twitter, as Musk claimed earlier in the daytime.
Musk writes a comment on Houghton’s post and reports that because of her, he made a video call to Harald to try to figure out what was true and what was lying about it. The mogul says it’s a long story to tell on this call, but the bottom line is that talking to people directly is better than communicating via Twitter.
A successful end to a historic online dispute
As the world knows, the historic online flirtation between Harald and Elon Musk began more than 24 hours ago when the Icelandic entrepreneur demanded information on whether he had been fired from Twitter or not. It reached the ears of Musk, who mocked Haraldar’s job description and later accused him of not being arrested while working at Twitter, mocking, among other things, that he was hiding behind his physical disability.
The case has garnered enormous attention on Twitter and no less in the world’s mainstream media. It is clear that the case will end successfully and now Haraldur is secret, according to the tycoon, as to whether he will actually return to work.
