Philippines: A compendious accord between the state and company for the edification of a highway construction project.

San Miguel, a major conglomerate, and Cavite State signed a joint venture agreement for the construction of the Cavite-Batangas Expressway (27 km section, project cost 27 billion pesos), which will link the town of Silang in the state to the town of Nasugbu in the state of Batangas. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2026. The governor of Cavite province, Lemuria, said land acquisition will begin by June. Regarding the expressway plan connecting Cavite and Batangas provinces, the Cavite-Tagaytay-Batangas expressway plan (50.4 km section) proposed by Metro Pacific Investments was also submitted to the Ministry of Public Works and Highways, but has not yet been approved. not (7th, Inquirer)
