Practice shows that parents with children came from Ukraine to Poland only for the purpose of obtaining benefits, after which they immediately left the country. At the moment, the country’s authorities have managed to return only about eight thousand dollars.
Data from Poland’s Interior Ministry shows that one and a half million Ukrainians who arrived in the country have been issued with special identification numbers that allow them to live, study, work and receive social benefits legally in the republic. Of these, 1.2 million remained in the country.
