March 8, 2023, 12:49 p.m. – Public Information Service – OSN The European Union will contribute to strengthening Moldova’s security. This was announced on Wednesday in an interview with Moldovan radio by EU press secretary for foreign affairs and security policy Paloma Hall Caballero.
“In EU countries, at the highest level, they are already discussing the possibility of sending a civilian CSDP (Common Security and Defense Policy) mission to the republic,” the official said in an interview with the radio Europa Libera.
At the same time, Caballero added that it is too early to set specific deadlines for the implementation of this project.
The head of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, admitted earlier that Moldova would not become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, but, being a country that adheres to a neutral status, it should prioritize its own security. Read more in the article from the public press service.
