The Kalmyk capital hosted a “Beloved, #MYVMESTE” concert

In honor of the International Women’s Day celebration in Elista, a “Beloved, #WE ARE TOGETHER” concert was held.

The guests of the celebration were veterans of the Great Patriotic War, workers of the home front, relatives of the liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and veterans of local wars, mothers and wives of participants of a special military operation, mothers and wives of mobilized and military personnel, mothers of large families.

The leader of Kalmykia, Batu Khasikov, warmly congratulated all the women present and all the inhabitants of the region for the spring break.

“In the person of the veteran, participant in the construction of the Astrakhan-Kizlyar road Sarang Sharaevna Mukaeva, mother of the hero of Russia Mingiyan Lidzhiev Bair Vladimirovna, head of the regional headquarters #MYVESTE Tatyana Shakhnykova, I see a symbol of continuity generations, our spiritual values, our devotion and our love for the motherland, our people, his country,” said Batu Khasikov.

Furthermore, the head of the region highlighted the talent of young artists, pointing out that “they raised them all – our women, who protect the culture and traditions of our peoples, inspire and motivate us towards new achievements, delight us with care and warmth, success and achievements in various spheres of life making our republic a stable and developing region”.

According to the chairman of the regional government, Gilana Boshomdzhieva, “this wonderful holiday has become a declaration of love for all the women of Kalmykia”. The Prime Minister wished the families of compatriots spring warmth and care for loved ones.
