The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation called the amount necessary for the restoration of new areas

It will take more than two years of active work to restore the cities destroyed by the battles.

According to Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Fayzullin, restoring new areas will require at least 350 billion rubles.

In his interview with “Parliamentskaya Gazeta”, the minister explained that the volume of work in the new territories is enormous. The overhaul will cost 300 billion and another special Treasury loan of 50 billion will be devoted to the restoration of municipal infrastructure.

The restoration work will take at least two years. And this term is conditional, because in the Donbass, as well as in two new regions, hostilities continue, because of which the destruction of settlements continues.

Fayzullin added that up to 45,000 builders will be involved in repair work this year.
