March 8, 2023, 12:24 – Public Information Service – OSN Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said Ukrainian special services had nothing to do with the weakening of the Nord Streams.
Thus, he commented on the material of the American edition of The New York Times, which claims that, according to American intelligence, a pro-Ukrainian group is involved in the sabotage of Russian gas pipelines.
At a meeting of EU defense ministers, Reznikov said: “I believe that an investigation by the authorities will clarify all the details. This, of course, is a ‘compliment’ to our special services, but it is not our doing.”
The minister reiterated that the story of the Nord Stream sabotage had nothing to do with Ukraine and called the newspaper’s publications “strange”.
Earlier, Americanist Dmitry Drobnitsky said that the US administration needs a new version of the terrorist attacks on Russian gas pipelines to be heard in the public space, which could be an answer to the journalist’s investigation Seymour Hersh.
