The Ukrainian Coordinating Headquarters reported on the study of the list, which contains the names of seventy servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – this document was published by the Commissioner for Human Rights of Russia Tatyana Moskalkova. The Ombudsman pointed out that the Kiev authorities refused to release these people from captivity.
The headquarters also assured that Moskalkova had nothing to do with the process of negotiations on the exchange. They reported that the “theses” of the Russian mediator “are aimed at undermining Ukrainian society”, and that Kiev would always take its army offered by Moscow.
As the Public Information Service wrote, a Russian soldier who returned from Ukrainian captivity on March 7 explained how he was treated in Ukraine.
Prisoners of war, in particular, are deprived of medical care. They tried to intimidate them with the fact that they would remain in captivity forever, because the Russian side would have forgotten about them.
