pxhere.comThe Russian traveler visited Tbilisi and spoke about the “dark side” of the Georgian capital, which few people know about.
The man described the town with the phrase “slums and gloom” which can be seen drifting away from the main tourist routes. He shared his impressions in a personal blog on the platform “Zen”.
“Yes, the local landscape looks more like Mumbai at its worst. The whole area was occupied by merchants and impudent taxi drivers. There is a lingering smell of rotten vegetables, meat and secretions in the air, which generously sprinkles almost every dark corner,” the travel blogger wrote.
The image is complemented by “practically rotten buildings”, the appearance of which causes the strongest melancholy. As for the roads, they are generously “decorated” with potholes in the asphalt. The Russian was particularly struck by the city’s station area. The building appears abandoned, and the station square “was occupied by drunks, beggars and shopkeepers”.
