Russia possesses the most powerful nuclear arsenal in the world. This is the conclusion reached by US national intelligence officers.
The report, which was published by the press office of the head of the department, Avril Haynes, underlines that Russia, in particular, continues to improve non-strategic strike systems.
“Russia has the largest and most powerful stockpile of nuclear weapons, continues to expand and modernize its capabilities in the field of nuclear weapons,” the document said.
Intelligence also believes that Russia is developing new long-range missiles capable of delivering a nuclear weapon, overcoming the US missile defense system.
