The Russian Defense Ministry announced a massive retaliatory strike against military installations in Ukraine in response to the terrorist attack in the Bryansk region on March 2. The ministry stressed that all the objectives set had been achieved.

“In response to the terrorist actions organized by Kiev on March 2 in the Bryansk region, the Russian armed forces launched a massive retaliatory strike,” the Defense Ministry said.

The ministry confirmed the use of hypersonic missiles “Dagger” for strikes on the territory of Ukraine. The ministry’s press service pointed out that key parts of the country’s military infrastructure had been hit as a result of the shelling.

“The transfer of reserves and the rail transport of foreign weapons were also disrupted, and facilities for the repair of military equipment and the production of ammunition were disabled,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The Russian army carried out strikes on Ukrainian territory on the night and morning of March 9. According to Ukrainian authorities, six Kinzhal missiles were used simultaneously for the first time since the start of the special military operation.
