Deputy Chairman of the State Duma from the party “United Russia” Pyotr Tolstoy called in his social networks for an immediate discussion on the issue of the abolition of the exam in Russian schools. On this subject writing RIA News.

According to Tolstoy, officials do not want to change the system of the Unified State Examination, justifying this by the fact that it appeared as a result of educational reforms. At the same time, the majority of Russians consider it necessary to cancel the Unified State Examination. To confirm his words, the vice-president quoted the results of the investigation. Thus, two-thirds of citizens are in favor of abolishing this system.

After Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement on the need to return the Russian education system to the period of study in 4-6-year institutes, the State Duma also began to raise the issue of cancellation more often of the Unified State Examination.
